Launch of "52BASE", a new hub for R&D and co-creation

JUNE, 2025

We have opened a new base called "52BASE" in Sumida Ward, Tokyo. The facility was established in collaboration with Kizai Inc. (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; Representative: Kazunari Takashima), a company known for its expertise in equipment and system design supporting major events behind the scenes. Together, the two organizations aim to further advance our research and development and co-creation initiatives.

A place to share new experiences powered by technology

"52Base" is a space where visitors can see, touch, and feel technology in action. It showcases original prototypes and project outputs developed by our tech directors, aiming to inspire visitors with new ideas and spark opportunities for co-creation.

From R&D to co-creation, the next phase envisioned by BASSDRUM

52Base is more than just a showcase. It also serves as a testing ground for prototyping ideas and exploring early-stage projects. The space is designed to support small-scale experiments that lead to co-creation. We will continue to connect with companies, organizations, and individuals to expand the potential of technology through collaboration.

The meaning behind the name "52Base"

"52Base" combines the section number of the facility where the space is located with the word "base," representing a foundation or hub. The design of the "52" in the logo is based on the actual structural layout of the warehouse.
