VirO

WebServices

OVERVIEW

The virtual office tour system "VirO" is designed for students seeking job opportunities. Job-seeking students can gather information about their desired companies, attend webinars, and interact with current employees and fellow job seekers, all within a metaverse office without having to visit the company in person. They can do all of this while using their preferred avatars.

For companies, the system allows the placement of images and videos within the virtual office, the hosting of webinars, and the offering of various experiential content for job seekers. Additionally, the user-friendly management dashboard enables companies to easily set up and operate their virtual office environments without complex operations or specialized knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To enable engineers to focus on development, we worked closely together with the front-end and back-end engineers while serving as the frontman for client-facing interactions within the technical team.

First, we conducted in-depth research on the project to define the technical specifications and clarify the requirements. Following this, we addressed a variety of technical challenges. These included selecting the technology for synchronizing users' positions within the metaverse, determining the methods for user login and notifications for entry and exit, and defining the development approach for the chat functionality. We also researched compatible browsers, evaluated service levels, and verified the licenses for video services.

Based on these results, we created system architecture diagrams and shared them in a format that was easy for non-technical teams to understand. This ensured that everyone involved in the service development had a common understanding, allowing the project to proceed smoothly.
