Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Yota studied UI/UX design, perceptual psychology and engineering at Meiji University, and gained experience as a design engineer at a design firm. After graduation, he joined Hakuhodo i-studio, where he worked in the research and development department, design department, and then as a programmer and tech director, working on installations, online distribution, web production and AR application development. 
Currently based in Okinawa, he works as a freelance design engineer/technical director on various development projects regardless of platform. Yota joined BASSDRUM in December 2022.

静岡県出身。明治大学にてUI/UXデザインや知覚心理学、エンジニアリングついて学び、デザインファームでデザインエンジニアの経験を積む。卒業後、博報堂アイ・スタジオに入社。研究開発部署、デザイン部署を経て、プログラマー、テクニカルディレクターとして、インスタレーション、オンライン配信、Web制作、ARアプリの開発などに携わる。現在は沖縄に拠点を移し、フリーのデザインエンジニア／テクニカルディレクターとしてプラットフォームを問わず様々な開発に関わる。2021年12月よりBASSDRUMに参画。
