Pre-Vision Labs SHIBUYA launches
BASSDRUM, Connected Media (CTDM), and Apelo have launched Pre-Vision Labs SHIBUYA, a simulation service that allows users to preview how creative content will appear across the large-format digital screens at Shibuya Scramble Crossing when displayed in sync.
Pre-Vision Labs SHIBUYA maps creative content onto each screen within a 3D model that recreates the actual urban environment, generating a video simulation of the synchronized display. This allows teams to review the overall visual experience before the content goes live, helping improve creative quality when designing multiple screens as one unified experience, reduce production time and effort, and streamline the client approval process.
■ Background and challenges
Synchronized advertising across the large-format digital screens at Shibuya Scramble Crossing is a popular media offering that allows multiple screens to display content in sync. Until now, campaigns have primarily repurposed existing 16:9 content for synchronized playback. By using Pre-Vision Labs SHIBUYA, brands and creators can more easily develop dedicated creative that is designed as a unified experience across multiple screens, each with different positions, shapes, and sizes. This makes it easier to explore the dynamic visual possibilities unique to synchronized displays.
