Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Yota studied UI/UX design, perceptual psychology and engineering at Meiji University, and gained experience as a design engineer at a design firm. After graduation, he joined Hakuhodo i-studio, where he worked in the research and development department, design department, and then as a programmer and tech director, working on installations, online distribution, web production and AR application development. Currently based in Okinawa, he works as a freelance design engineer/technical director on various development projects regardless of platform. Yota joined BASSDRUM in December 2022.
